Our Mission: to explore and enjoy our coast and share time with friends, old and new.
Hi, we are Doug and Cindy and we were working our whole lives away, but we decided to retire in a small seaside community on the west coast of BC, Canada. Away from the big cities, the hordes of humans and the traffic, we love our quiet, natural surroundings, our small community and wanted to explore our home, our coast and some of the 40,000 km of shoreline, share some of it with friends and meet others with the same passion. We enjoy exploring our local bays and islands in kayaks, but we wanted to extend our reach, so we searched for a worthy boat and after checking out what was available at the time, we decided on a Canadian made 1990 Cooper Yachts Prowler.
We have since moved to Campbell River, BC, which is another small, quiet coastal town, surrounded by natural beauty.
